Shibuya canals

Many canals run through Shibuya, although nowadays I think some are covered by construction or new buildings.

A pondering dinosaur

A random dinosaur scientist statue I found in the backstreets of Omotesando.

From the top... of the bakery?

A two-story bakery in Shibuya that we found ourselves in. I loved being able to look down and people watch while we worked.

Perusing the conbini before a night out

If only other countries had convenience stores that offered food and drinks on the level of what you find in Japan.

Shinkansen arriving... or departing?

I'm a sucker for views with trains flying through.

First matches with a good friend

Walked into a random bar one night only to discover it was videogame-themed. The bartender was playing Street Fighter 2 with some of the customers and looked like he was good. I grabbed a game with him after he was done, and it turned into a full night of us going back and forth on wins. I'd play the guy for the next ~7 years of my life. We never really spoke in depth due to language barriers, but I'd credit him with showing me that fighting games can be their own language.

Trick art museum

A weirdly fun exhibit from Odaiba back in the day: artwork that plays with perception and depth. Makes for great photos!
