Post-quake, letting off steam
The 3/11 quake was a very strange experience to live through. While we certainly had nowhere near the rough experience in Tokyo that others did up north, it was still... confusing. So friends and I did what young idiots do and drank all night, and then snuck up to the top of my building to watch the sun rise.

Drinking with some doctor
I have zero recollection about how this came about.

Prepping for a run
I'd go to the top of my building at the time for pre-run stretching. The endless expanse of Tokyo in all directions used to get me in the mood for exercise, for whatever reason.

Running in the snow
This snowstorm had me stranded in the UK for 2 weeks.

First apartment in Tokyo (workspace)
If I wasn't working in some coffee shop in central Tokyo, I was probably working from here. Untold amounts of (unholy) JavaScript was constructed here.

Walking home
Pretty sure I'd been out all night drinking...

Exploring
Final days in the area, just randomly roaming.

First apartment (view)
I remember it randomly started snowing one day, wish I had a photo of that view.

First apartment in Tokyo
Some random AirBNB with an... interesting... owner.
